BRG King Island Golf Course, also known as Dong Mo Golf Course, is located in a relatively convenient location for golfers. About 35km from the center of Hanoi, golfers only take about 1 hour by car to get to BRG King Island Golf Course.
In particular, when you arrive at the golf course, you will be transported in a very unique way. Golfers will travel to the clubhouse on the island by speedboat from the parking lot to the mainland.

Kings Island Golf Resort - known as the first and oldest golf course in Northern Vietnam, with a 30-year history. This golf course has a large area of 350 hectares, promising to bring players a classy experience.

3. Golf course design

BRG Kings Island Golf Resort consists of 55 holes including 3 courses: Lakeside, Mountain View and Kings.

Lakesid course consists of 18 holes - par 72 - 6,516 yards long. This golf course was designed by famous American architect Mc Farland in 1993.

Lakeside is the shortest course of the three courses at BRG Kings Island Golf Resort, but it is no less challenging. Right from the name, players can somewhat visualize its outstanding features. The course is laid out along a large lake, which comes into play on several holes. Lakeside also has many water hazards, which can make the golf course difficult to score well.

To bring the best experience to golfers, the grass on the course is also focused on. In that:

  • Green: planted with TifDwarf grass, providing a good putting surface
  • Fairway: using Bermuda grass to give players perfect shots

Mountainview course was designed in 2004 by Pacific Coast Design (Australia). This is one of the leading companies in the field of golf course design and construction. The architects have exploited the natural strengths of the surrounding mountain ranges to design Mountainview course with 18 holes - Par 72 stretching over 6978 yards from the yellow teeing points.

Mountainview course has a more comfortable layout than Kings Course, but it still offers many challenges for golfers of all skill levels.

Kings course opened in 2018 and features Jack Nickaus II's signature 55th hole played from an elevated waterfall tee box.
At 7,247 yards from the back tees, the course has a challenging layout with undulating fairways, strategically placed bunkers and well-protected greens. The course is also home to the famous "Jack's Nicklaus 55th Hole", a par-3 played from an elevated tee box to a green surrounded by water.
